You are bidding on an unpainted blank fiberglass reproduction of a
18"  BUTTERFLY KOI FISH - fiberglass reproduction blank .
I have molds for 9 other Koi including regular and butterfly koi ( long fins )  17 x 10  , 19 x 15 ( 4 1/2 lb ) egg bound female ,  19 1/2 x 11 butterfly  ( 3 1/2 lb ) 21 x 14 ( 5 lb ) 24 x 17 ( 9 lb ) 25 x 18 ( 9 1/2 lb ) , 27 x 15 butterfly  , 32 x 24  , 21 lb . These fish are a breed of the common carp, Cyprinus carpio, which includes numerous wild carp races as well as domesticated koi but have elongated fins . The finage resembles the delicate wings of a butterfly, hence them name.
This fish blank is custom made to order and includes the fins so it will take a few days to make depending upon the weather .
You will be getting the fish as it comes out of the mold . All you need to do is wash in warm water to remove the green PVA mold release , then use tin snips or a hack saw and trim the excess flange off the blank , sand the seams , cut out and install fins ,and paint .
