    Description

Christmas Seals: Large Album 1912-1956; Progressives, USA, Canada; Complete Sheets.
This Album is impressive--a real treasure trove of Christmas Seals.  Many pages, many seals.  Also as a bonus, many large partial sheets, and nine complete sheets.
The pictures show just a sample of the riches.  The first and last pictures show pages from the front of the album and include a Price List which is part of the album itself.  There is also a separate Price List included which covers from 1907-1943.
Then the actual depictions of the seals starts with the oldest seal in the album, a 1912 Seal WX10 (yes; these seals are catalogued in the Scott Specialized).  Then we have several pics of older seals some with blocks of four.  Then pictures of progressives, including Canadian issues.  Canada is very well represented in the volume and variety of Seals in this album.  Then two pictures of loose seals in blocks.  The first of these pictures shows many partial sheets, some almost complete.  The next picture shows six complete sheets.  These are:1940, 1946, 1951,1965, 1966, and 1967.  Not shown are three duplicate complete sheets: 1940 and two 1965.
The album itself is remarkable for its heavy page stock and complete inclusion of all types of issues.
I ran out of picture space; otherwise I could have shown many more seals with lots of variety and interest.
Christmas Seals were first issued in Scandinavia in 1904, and then in the USA in 1907 by the Red Cross.  Then Anti-Tuberculosis organizations took over, and then, with the waning of TB, the American Lung Association started issuing them in 1973.  Although they are not Postage Stamps and have no postal value, they were commonly placed on correspondence and especially Christmas Cards in the season as a fund-raiser for the anti-tuberculosis effort.  As mentioned, they make the Scott Specialized Catalog under the heading: "Christmas Seals", and with the Prefix: "WX."  As one might expect, early issues have the most monetary value, which is relatively modest.
Collecting Christmas Seals is a niche of philately, full of history and variety, but it does not break the bank.  This offering is sure to enhance existing collections, or get someone started with Christmas Seals in a big way.
We will ship in a medium priority box.
Note – eBay may or may not add a sales tax depending on each state’s requirements. We do not collect it.
Also, we list our items for mostly sales in the U.S. The postage noted is for U.S. sales only. If you are not in the U.S., please be advised that eBay will add a separate shipping charge for their overseas shipping from Erlanger, KY. Again, we have no control over that amount. Thank You.
    Grading:
All grading is our best opinion based on the official ANA Grading Standards for coins, Friedberg or Cuhaj for currency and Scotts for stamps.
Please examine the photos closely to form your own opinion as to grade and bid based on that.
We acknowledge that grading is semi-subjective and that a difference of opinions can occur even among experts.
If you decide to certify an item and it does not meet your grade expectation, that is a cost born by the buyer and is not a reason to return the item.
This statement is not applicable if the item is already certified by a professional certification service like NGC, PMG or PCGS.
    Authenticity:
We stand by the authenticity of every item we sell. We verify the provenance of our inventory prior to purchasing. We do not take any material we believe has been altered or we believe are forgeries. We refuse the material or destroy it if it is part of a large lot. If any coin, stamp or piece of currency we have sold proves to be a forgery or altered in any way, we will gladly refund your money.

    Terms of Sale
Our return policy is simple. You are
    guaranteed
to be satisfied. If you, as the buyer, are unhappy with your purchase, you will have 14 days in which to return it, no questions asked. The only exception to this deals with silver bullion. The price fluctuations in precious metals can sometimes be extreme, both up and down. When we sell bullion, we always sell under spot and let you know when the spot price was applied. If the price goes up, it is in your favor. If the price goes down, it is not a reason to return the bullion coins. Prices fluctuate – that is the precious metals market.
We are hopeful that the pictures and descriptions are such that there should be no reason to return an item. If you do wish to return the item for any reason, our return policy applies
    . I
f you do return an item, we will refund your payment minus shipping and handling costs upon receipt of the item or replace the item with an agreed upon substitute, again, after receipt of the item.
Should we feel that anyone is abusing the return policy such as sending back items repeatedly, it will be to our discretion as to whether to continue selling items to that individual.
    Service:
E&L Coins strives to give 5 STAR service by providing quality coins, currency or stamps at a reasonable price. We state up front what our policies are, shipping rates and shipping frequency. When you give 4 STARS, it may seem like a great score for instance a 4 in Shipping Time means "Quickly", eBay, however, considers this to be a sub-par mark. Their standards require all sellers to maintain a 4.8 rating and above or be penalized with higher fees and more.
If you are pleased with a transaction, please respond with all 5 STARS – THANK YOU. We will ALWAYS provide a positive rating to you as the buyer once a payment has been made. We hope you will consider providing positive feedback to us upon receipt of your item. If you are not pleased, let us know via email and we will work to make it a 5 STAR experience.
