This vintage jean jacket is a rare find. Made in the USA, it has a shawl collar, a long, blazer-type lapel, and it's cropped and has a tuxedo-style pointed hem.
Add in the acid-wash finish and unique texture (see close-up images), and this jacket is truly one of a kind.
And that's BEFORE the hand-painting inspired by the "Dress You Up (in My Love)" jackets created by designer Wendy Dagworthy and worn by Madonna during the Virgin Tour in the 1980s.

This is not an exact replica of any of the different jackets Madonna performed in, but rather a compilation comprised of the different markings and colors that were used on the originals.
This jacket was painted by hand and will have imperfections. There is some paint bleed-through on the jacket interior (see images) but this is not visible when worn.
If you are looking for perfection in hand-painted apparel, please do not order from me.
If you have any questions please ask before ordering. It takes approximately 20 hours to hand-paint this jacket.
All apparel sold on Art by Victoria Skye is purchased at consignment or "second-hand" shops either new or gently used with no obvious defects. All apparel is cleaned before the artwork is added Completed apparel is stored hanging in dry cleaner bags. Mine is a non-smoking home but there are cats and dogs on premises.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAINTED APPAREL
Experts recommend your painted garments be washed alone and by hand in warm water with a small amount of mild detergent, then laid flat to dry on an absorbent towel.
Alternately, you may machine wash painted garments on a short, gentle cycle.

I will be happy to accept your return as long as you keep the following in mind:
The Art by Victoria Skye tag MUST not be removed.
Garments must not have been worn except to try on.
Garments must not have been cleaned or altered in any way.
Contact me within 7 DAYS OF receiving your order to initiate a refund (or by Dec 31 for purchases made in December) and return within 14 DAYS.
Unless there is an error on my part, you will have to pay the return shipping costs, so please shop and measure carefully, and ask questions BEFORE you make a purchase.
