    I would rate it an 8, on a scale from 1 to 10.  Please note that Quantaray had two models, one with 589mm and other with
    62mm rim.
    This hood will fit only lens with
    62mm rim
    (Pormaster, Tamron, Quanataray)
    70-300mm f4-5.6 Tele-Macro LD
    PLease note that lens with 58mm rim will not fit this lens hood.
