Description

Sony Trinitron KV-13TR29 13-Inch Color Television. Picture and audio functionality have no issues at all. The TV is clean with no cracks in the body. I opened and cleaned out the remote %100, so the buttons respond excellently without needing a lot of pressure.
There are several minor issues with this unit:
The remote handle was cracked at one point, so I crazy glued it back together - shown in photos
The remote battery lid needs a piece of scotch tape to keep it on since one of the plastic retaining tabs broke off - shown in photos
Bottom of TV has minor splotches of yellowing - shown in photos
The physical channel buttons do not work
I opened the TV myself to inspect it for obvious problems.
The past owners pushed too hard on the TV buttons and bent the micro switches back out of their metal clasp housings, making it too far for the plastic buttons to reach them. Sony should have reinforced the clasps with glue or used better quality clasps, as the metal is fairly soft. I re-seated all the switches back in their clasps, but the channel buttons have still lost their 'clicky' action from being pushed back farther than the rest of the switches, and they need to be reassembled or replaced if you want the channel buttons to work again.
Just be gentle on the TV buttons if you need to use them or you may need to re-do the clasps again. Otherwise,
the physical buttons never mattered to me, as the remote works perfectly.
